The Future Cleantech Festival 2026 attracted strong interest from international, European and local media, with more than a dozen journalists attending the event. Participants included reporters from leading international and specialized outlets such as Reuters, AFP, Der Spiegel, Handelsblatt, Contexte, WDR and Energy Voice.

Highlights include:
- Germany’s leading business newspaper, Handelsblatt, featured FCA CEO Dr. Peter Schniering in its Green & Energy podcast alongside Roman Diederichs, Managing Director of steel company Dirostahl, and Frederick Lessmann, CEO of HyperHeat. The discussion explores how innovative technologies can decarbonize high-temperature industrial heat. (Listen here, in German).
- Energy Voice, which covers energy news, analysis and insight from Scotland, reported from the Festival on efforts by the defence industry to increase circularity, reduce dependence on imported raw materials, and cut emissions from steel production. (Watch the story here).
- FCA’s Clean Firm Power report was covered by the leading German newspaper Tagesspiegel (read here, in German), as well as by media outside the EU, including India’s magazine on environment and development, Down To Earth, and the UK’s Business Green. The report was launched with a lively discussion that included speakers from Clean Air Task Force, IRENA, Project Tempo, and FCA’s cleantech analyst, Dr. Antoine Koen.
