We are humbled by this recognition and grateful to be selected alongside impact-driven organizations such as the Clean Air Task Force, The Good Food Institute, Opportunity Green, and Project InnerSpace
Support for independent research and policy advocacy can help unlock much larger public and private investments in climate innovation.
Since 2020, we have successfully contributed to policies that tackle some of the hardest-to-abate sectors:
- Industrial heat: Advising the European Commission on the design of its first €1 billion industrial heat auction, with a second auction expected to open in December.
- Hydrogen: Providing independent technical analysis to the European Parliament to inform its scrutiny of the EU’s Delegated Act on low-carbon fuels.
- Innovative renewables: Helping secure the inclusion of a 5% indicative target for innovative renewable energy technologies in the EU’s revised Renewable Energy Directive (RED III).
The climate innovation gap remains a major challenge on the path to net zero by 2050.
We believe that closing this gap can increase energy security and industrial strength.
With the continued support of our donors, we aim to expand our work across aviation, global shipping, chemicals production, construction, and clean energy systems.
To Giving Green and all our supporters: Thank you for your trust and for making this work possible.
