This year’s Future Cleantech Festival will explore that question from inside the industries, control rooms, and construction sites where industrial transformation is already taking its first steps.
On June 17–18, 2026, we will bring policymakers, innovators, industry leaders, and researchers together to Remscheid, one of Germany’s classical industrial towns, to examine how hard-to-abate sectors can transition in practice.
From steel’s electrified production to high-temperature heat for forging ovens, structural efficiency in construction, and transformation of central grids, the Festival focuses on the technologies and systems shaping Europe’s clean energy transition.
Through immersive site visits, discussions, and real-world demonstrations, participants will engage directly with the challenges and opportunities of industrial decarbonization.
Though space is limited on our (all electric) buses, the conversation remains open to all. We will share key insights and reports, as well as takeaways and opportunities to join the conversation. Stay tuned!
