Last year marked an important phase of growth for our team. We welcomed new talent across our leadership, cleantech analysts’ unit, and European policy team.
Throughout 2025, FCA continued our work on construction, high-temperature heat, long-duration and thermal energy storage, and hydrogen. We also expanded our engagement activities, from Coffee & Cleantech (our series of technical briefings for policymakers in Brussels and Berlin) to the launch of our new Future Cleantech Lectures in Wuppertal University.
Additionally, our team published a Hydrogen Guardrails report, submitted a technical analysis on a hydrogen regulation to the European Parliament, released two policy briefs on cement and thermal energy storage, and launched a new series of case studies on thermal energy storage.
We are especially proud that 2025 also marked the year Future Cleantech Architects became an official adjoint institute of the University of Wuppertal.
