With only six weeks to go until the Future Cleantech Festival, we are very happy to officially welcome Johanna Rübcke to Future Cleantech Architects as Project & Conference Manager.
On June 17–18 in Remscheid, the Festival will bring policymakers, industry leaders, startups, and researchers directly into industrial sites, utility control rooms, and construction projects to explore one of Europe’s biggest challenges: how to decarbonize heavy industry while strengthening industrial competitiveness and energy security.
From circular steel production and high-temperature industrial heat to grid transformation and material-efficient construction, the Festival focuses on the sectors where the transition is most challenging. It is where innovation is most urgently needed.
Johanna joined us at an exciting moment as we prepare to convene participants from across industry, policy, and cleantech. Based in Cologne, she brings experience in project development and fundraising, supporting FCA’s donor relations and funded projects beyond the Festival.
She holds a dual Master’s degree in International Relations with a focus on Security Studies, Diplomacy and Foreign Policy, has previously conducted research for the Summa and INSS research institutes, and has worked with UNESCO and the German Commission for UNESCO.
Welcome to the team, Johanna!
