Roundtable Discussion on Green Hydrogen

The United Nations University Vice Rectorate in Europe (UNU-VIE) and Future cleantech Architects (FCA) are hosting a Roundtable Discussion on “Green Hydrogen for Climate and Sustainable Development: Towards a Win-Win Partnership in the EU & Africa”.

The objective of this event is to explore how green technologies – represented by hydrogen and ammonia – can help to achieve win-win solutions for both local development in Africa and the implementation of EU strategies. With the adoption of the Belém Action Mechanism at COP20 in Belém, Brazil, in November 2025, just transition is now formally embedded in the global climate agenda. This event will explore the role of hydrogen, and ammonia, from both the technical and policy perspectives in the context of the EU and Africa.
