Do you have a Master’s degree in architecture, structural/civil engineering, or building science? Plus a solid understanding of embodied carbon, material lifecycle impacts, and construction sector dynamics? Topped by familiarity with carbon pricing and EU climate and construction frameworks, as well as strong research and analytical skills?
Then you might be our new colleague, joining one of the most effective climate innovation think tanks, recommended by organizations such as Giving Green and Vox.
As our new Cleantech Analyst Construction, you will shape and accelerate the next frontier of construction innovation, with a specific focus on the potential of structural efficiency. Working with FCA’s Policy and Research Teams, you will focus on advancing a holistic decarbonization strategy for the construction sector, spanning cement decarbonization, next-generation materials, structural and material efficiency, and embodied carbon reduction.
You will also explore and promote digital innovation, including AI and advanced modelling tools, optimize design and building processes, and significantly reduce the emissions footprint of buildings and infrastructure through performance-based standards. You will work closely with the Head of EU Policy, anticipating, analyzing, and influencing EU initiatives in critical sectors such as energy systems and storage, transport (aviation, shipping), high-temperature industrial heat, or construction.
