With only three weeks to go, we had the pleasure of presenting the Future Cleantech Festival 2024 alongside Vanessa Völkel and Andreas Schäfer from our UN co-hosts and Peter Heinze and Burkhard Mast-Weisz from the city of Remscheid, and with virtual participation from Thibyan Ibrahim (UN Climate Change), Francesco Matteucci, Antonio Marco Pantaleo, Franc Mouwen (European Innovation Council), and Xiaomeng Shen (United Nations University – Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS)). The press conference was an exciting opportunity to showcase Europe’s most ambitious climate innovation festival, featuring four chapters over two days: Innovation, Transport, Construction, and the Future Energy System.
