Last week, FCA received a visit from the State Chairwoman of the Green Party in North Rhine-Westphalia, Yazgülü Zeybek. Amongst other topics, the discussion focused on renewable energies and the need for storage, the possibilities of geothermal energy, and the current situation surrounding the decarbonization of the cement industry.
“What can I take with me to Düsseldorf, what is lacking the most?” Zeybek asked. “More attention and support needs to flow into research and more funding into the storage expansion for renewable energies, because storage is neglected in manybudgets and plans”, answered Peter Schniering.
