New EEIST’s Report on 10 evidence-based Principles for successful policymaking on the energy transition

In the context of innovation and structural change, policies will almost always favor some technologies over others. When driving cleantech innovation, it is better to choose deliberately rather than accidentally, supporting the most effective innovation options.
Taking a broader view than the traditionally used cost-benefit analysis, the Principles assess the full scope of opportunity and risk to help accelerate clean technologies and drive the low carbon energy transition.
There has never been a more critical time to advance clean technologies. Governments must act now and play a more active role by designing better and more impactful policies to decarbonize economies.
