It was an honor for our team members Antoine Koen and Leonie Brand to be part of this 2-day conference organized by the Effective Altruism community in Berlin and to see such a strong interest in our work and focus topics. It was great meeting new people and catching up with supporters of our work.
During the event, Antoine presented Future Cleantech Architects’ mission at the intersection between technology and policy to accompany these crucial innovations and help them scale up as fast as possible. Antoine’s presentation zoomed in on one of our focus sectors, cement and concrete, which served as the perfect example of the complexities of the challenge of decarbonizing heavy industry. He examined the diversity of solutions and how a holistic approach is needed to have the highest impact possible.
