We are pleased to share that Future Cleantech Architects is now officially an adjoint institute of the University of Wuppertal, Bergische Universität Wuppertal.
The cooperation between us and the university entails sharing knowledge, supplementing the university’s teaching program, carrying out joint research projects, and jointly applying research results in practice. More specifically, university researchers may be seconded to FCA to support specific projects, while we may use the University’s resources for our work.
“Accelerating innovation in sectors such as construction, aviation, and shipping but also when it comes to high-temperature heat industrial processes, is something best done in collaboration. This collaboration between Future Cleantech Architects and a research-focused institution such as the University of Wuppertal helps us to develop highly innovative climate mitigation technologies for the most difficult industrial applications. The University of Wuppertal combines scientific excellence and practical proximity to heavy industry, which is also important,” said Peter Schniering, our founder and CEO.
“Future Cleantech Architects manage to communicate even really difficult technological challenges and suitable solutions to key decisionmakers in an understandable way, ensuring that political decisionmakers can support implementation of the solutions that are technically possible. This is where Future Cleantech Architects complement our university work in the most fruitful way,” said Professor Dr. Birgitta Wolff, Rector, University of Wuppertal.
The status of being an adjoint institute does not impact the independence of our work at FCA.
