We are happy to have co-hosted a workshop on accelerating cleantech under Horizon Europe and the next Framework Program with different members from the academia, think tanks, and industry representations in collaboration with DTU – Technical University of Denmark and the support of Climate Strategy & Partners, I4CE – Institute for Climate Economics, and Breakthrough Energy.
We had insightful discussions on enhancing research and innovation in cleantech across Europe, finding key areas for improvement, and articulating actionable policy recommendations. A big thank you to Marie Delair (Renewables Grid Initiative), Peter Vang Hendriksen (DTU), Acacia Smith (The Good Food Institute), Bjarke Bak Christensen (DTU), Jean-Luc Wietor (ECOS), and Eadbhard Pernot (Zero Emissions Platform) for co-leading the breakout sessions on mid and long duration energy storage and grid, AgriTech, and Cement.
The recommendations will be taken to DG R&I high-level expert group on Horizon Europe and its future!
Stay tuned as we will be sharing more insights from our discussions soon!
