Net Negative Techs

A decade ago, approaches in carbon capture and storage were often still compared to dubious ideas in geo-engineering. Due to the pressure on the international community to act on the climate challenge, this has changed significantly. While any mitigation technologies in the other R&D areas need to be pursued with highly intensified efforts, safe concepts of capturing and storing greenhouse gases from the atmosphere or from point sources will most likely become an inevitable component in handling the climate crisis.
