Clean + low-cost Electricity

Renewables are on a winning streak. Learning curves and cost reductions for PV and Wind have been impressive. But huge challenges are ahead for a comprehensive zero-carbon transition:

Green electricity will have to become more flexible and significantly cheaper. We need abundant clean power to meet the demands of rapid electrification - not to speak of the huge power demands for electrolysis. Moreover, the production process itself will have to become more sustainable.
